A GOOD TIME

Anyways, let’s get into it.

A quick scenario. Imagine I'm praying on the go: (I am driving and praying )

What would you do?

• Would you stop?
• Would you continue? 

PS: PRAYER means communicating with God. Praying on the go simply means communicating with God anytime, anywhere.

I put up a poll on social media with the scenario above and a lot of people chose "I would continue", while others shared later on that they would stop praying because it's distracting, or they might  have used some cuss words.

In my opinion, I'd say continue because if you stop you’d forget and that would be all for the day. 

Truth is we aren't supposed to separate our “spiritual life’’ from our everyday life, we have one life. When you have this mentality, you would realize that although it's good to have a specific time for your devotion, you should be flexible and comfortable enough to communicate with God anytime. 

When you are in the bathroom, pray. When you are in the salon, pray. When you are at work? Pray. You can pray under your breath. I remember one time I was praying and my colleague said "Why are you murmuring?". I just laughed  

Praying on the go helps in building a fervent prayer life. So say you pray at 6am everyday and you wake up at 4am. What happens on the days you oversleep? Does that mean no devotion for that day? Would you just rush out and rush in later in the day tired? 

Understand that God cares enough to want to speak with you every time, so don’t limit God to a specific time of the day. He can speak and even give instructions anywhere if you are constantly in touch.

There are days you'd have longer time to pray, that's beautiful and on days you don't, create the atmosphere and pray. Pray constantly, without ceasing.
